Stand

Exodus 14:13-14
13 Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again.14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest. AMP

1 Samuel 12:16
16 So stand still and see this great thing the Lord will do before your eyes now. AMP

Many of us are in great expectation. We must be diligent to remain full of faith and unrelenting confidence in God knowing that what He promised will come to pass. As we stand on His Word for the manifestations in our families, our health, our economic situations, our jobs and careers, we cannot allow ourselves to become discouraged or dismayed at what is going on around us. This, too, shall pass. God’s Word overrides any report, documentation, symptom, distraction, or pressure that the enemy tries to send our way.

Let us take heed to what the Word of God says. Let us be mindful of the fact that those things that are attempting to bog us down – once deliverance comes, if we choose to believe what God says, we will not see them again. We must stand strong, determined, and focused on our goals knowing that we can rest in the Lord and on His promises. He is indeed the same yesterday, today, and forever. God has not changed. He will show up and show out for His children if they will obey and stand. All that you have endured has not been in vain. Every obstacle that you have overcome was meant to weaken you, yet it has strengthened you. The enemy thought he had you, but there is a great sense of anticipation deep within you that lets you know that the best is yet to come.

So, having done all to stand, stand wrapping your hopes, dreams, expectation, and vision up in the truth found in the Word of God. It is not about us. It is about God’s glory shining forth in our lives and our situations. Let us encourage each other to continue to stand strong and tall as we await the breakthrough, the victory, the manifestation of the outcome that we are waiting for in our situations. STAND!

Prayer: “Father, I am determined to continue to stand on the promises found in your Word. I know that the current situation(s) in my life are temporary. I will not falter or faint in the midst of my experiences; I will stand and rest in You alone. Amen”
